WEIPA RUNNING FESTIVAL HAS GONE VIRTUAL
Weipa Running Festival is monitoring the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation and its potential to impact our event and attendees on 26th July 2020. Our mission statement promotes that the health and wellbeing of our community is our priority.
Our greatest priority remains the health and safety of our volunteers, and all our event participants. This is why we have made the heartbreaking decision to make our 2020 Running Festival a Virtual Event.

Charity & Donations
Weipa Running Festival choose to support a local needed service, the Royal Flying Doctors Service. $5.00 from every registration will be donated to the RFDS. All funds raised will go towards the replacement of ageing aircraft and up to date medical equipment.
Weipa Running Festival have also choosen to support the Australian Bush Fire Appeals by donating an additional $5.00 from every registration to support those in need.
Donations can be made to both charities through the registration process for Weipa Running Festival Events. Thank you for all your support.
